Where It All Began
It all started in the third quarter of 2019 at Gensan Medical Center, where two dedicated nurses crossed paths. Kaven worked tirelessly in the emergency department, while Christine cared for patients in the medical-surgical ward.
Whenever the ward needed an extra hand, Kaven was always there, never saying no, always ready to help. There were even times when he’d endorse patients to Christine, often with a few missing documents or medicines, much to her amusement.
When the World Stood Still
Back then, Christine was waiting for her visa to work in Saudi Arabia, and Kaven had plans to fly to Singapore. But then came COVID-19, and like the rest of the world, their dreams were put on hold. Lockdowns meant canceled applications, but it also meant more time together within the walls of Gensan Medical Center, a twist of fate neither of them saw coming.
Hints of Forever
The summer of 2021 brought subtle hints from Kaven, and their friends couldn’t help but tease them about the undeniable spark. Slowly, they got to know each other better, and on August 19, 2021, their love story officially began.
The Sweetest Yes
Fast forward to January 27, 2024, a day filled with joy and happy tears, when Kaven asked Christine to be his forever. She said yes. 💍
Building a Life Together
By September 2024, they took a leap together, moving to Singapore to start a new chapter as registered nurses.
Now, as they stand on the threshold of forever, they can’t wait to celebrate their love with you on September 18, 2025, the day their hearts become one. ❤️

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
Please arrive by 2:00 PM so you don’t miss a single special moment.
What is the dress code? will it be
Our theme is modern classic with soft, romantic tones of Pink ,Old rose pink, Pastel pink ,Brown, Beige. We’d love for everyone to follow the color palette so the day feels beautifully coordinated. If you could avoid white, black or very dark colors, that would be amazing. Thank you for helping us make the day picture-perfect!
Are kids allowed at the ceremony or reception?
Although we love your little ones, we can only accommodate the children of the immediate family & part of the entourage. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.
Can I bring a date or a friend?
Unfortunately, NO.
We hope you understand that we can no longer accommodate those who are not in our guest list due to limited seats. Each seat & table has a name assigned.
Is the venue easy to find? Will there be signs?
Yes! You can simply search Venue 88 on Google Maps for easy directions.
Will someone assist us with seating?
Absolutely! Our wedding coordinators will be there to guide you, especially for our Islam family and friends to ensure everyone is comfortable.
What kind of food will be served?
A delicious selection awaits! Guests with VIP seating will be served at their tables, while others can enjoy the buffet after the photo session or once the host gives the go signal.
Can we take pictures during the ceremony?
We’ve hired a professional photo and video team to capture every moment beautifully. You’re welcome to take photos, but please avoid blocking our photographers or videographers so they can do their magic.
